The Evolution of Crystal Balloon Studio!
2013-2014
Player-Factory
In 2013, I founded Player-Factory Studio, focusing primarily on radio production. Within a year and a half, my team and I produced over 100 broadcasts, each reaching more than 2,000 listeners.
By the end of 2014, the studio began its transition from audio-based storytelling to video production.
2014-2019
Player-Factory
After transitioning into a video studio, I collaborated with local high schools and produced a large-scale live show, drawing over 300 in-person attendees and more than 2,500 online viewers.
During this period, I gradually shifted toward digital media. I created a range of personal projects and began publishing them on Bilibili, marking the start of my online content presence.
2019-Now
Crystal Balloon Studio
Since 2019, Crystal Balloon Studio has expanded into the United States, positioning itself within the professional cinematography and equipment rental market in Los Angeles. The studio operates at the intersection of authorship and execution — supporting narrative and commercial productions with a cinematography-driven foundation.
Built upon formal training at George Mason University and ArtCenter College of Design, the studio is grounded in disciplined visual storytelling, motivated lighting, and production-ready systems. Today, it functions not only as a creative unit led by a Director of Photography, but also as a reliable technical partner — integrating camera, lighting, and workflow into a cohesive production structure.

Space before style. Story before surface.
